June 1, 2024 - NOLA River Fest
The 12th annual NOLA River Festival on Saturday, June 1, 2024 celebrates the cultural, economic, environmental and inspirational impacts of the Mississippi River and its inhabitants in the Crescent City and the entire Gulf South. The all-day festival at the New Orleans Jazz Museum will include live music, presentations, panels, delicious local food vendors, a full bar and more. This year’s theme is Mississippi Delta Blues, one of the earliest forms of blues originated in the Mississippi Delta. The festival is free and open to the public as well as streaming on Facebook. June 4–9, 2024 - New Orleans Wine and Food Experience
Celebrating its 32nd year, The New Orleans Wine & Food Experience is a premier event, showcasing what the city does best: eating and drinking. The festival has become one of the most celebrated culinary events in the nation, attracting gourmands and connoisseurs. June 6–9, 2024 - 2024 New Orleans Black Pride

June 8 & 9, 2024 - The Creole Tomato Festival
The French Market District hosts the 38th Annual Creole Tomato Festival, featuring live music at the French Market and Dutch Alley, Creole tomato food booths, Creole tomatoes for sale and activities for the entire family. For more information, go to www.frenchmarket.org/creoletomatofest

June 8, 2024 - World Naked Bike Ride NOLA
Intended to promote cycling awareness and rider safety, the Annual World Naked Bike Ride in New Orleans boasts hundreds of cyclists in various states of undress. Participants will assemble starting at 3 p.m. in Mickey Markey Park 700 Piety St. in the Bywater. The ride begins and ends at Mickey Markey Park. The processional starts at 4 p.m. and riding through the streets of the Bywater, Marigny and French Quarter neighborhoods. The goal of the event is to promote bicycle safety awareness. Cyclists complain about being invisible to motorists, so this is their cheeky way of saying, “Can you see me now?” For more information, go to www.wiki.worldnakedbikeride.org/.

June 8, 2024 - New Orleans Pridefest
New Orleans Pridefest takes place at the Phoenix Bar located at 941 Elysian Fields Ave. starting at 11 a.m. Pridefest just got a whole lot bigger with Big Freedia, the Queen Diva, as the headliner. 2024 New Orleans Pride Parade starts at Elysian Fields Avenue and rolls through the French Quarter starting at 7 p.m. The parade will start following Pridefest in the Marigny. It will loop through the French Quarter, passing by Community Fest, and end on Bourbon Street between St. Ann and Dumaine. June 16–19 - NOLA Juneteenth Freedom Gala and Festival
Commemorate Juneteenth with the NOLA Juneteenth Festival on June 19 at Armstrong Park/Congo Square. Admission is free. The kickoff Juneteenth Freedom Gala will be held on Sunday, June 16. In the southern corner of Armstrong Park is Congo Square, an open space where enslaved and free people of color gathered throughout the 19th century for meetings, open markets and African dance and drumming. New Orleans is a city that loves to eat, and boasts some of the best cuisine in the world. June 22, 2024 - The Alpine Luau
The New Orleans Tiki Culture Event is the ultimate summer mashup presented by the Krewe of Krampus. The Krewe of Krampus is an organization like a Mardi Gras krewe except during the Christmas season, in which they do an evening parade (or Krampuslauf) led by Krampus, complete with switches, and Saint Nicholas accompanied by a host of other creatures and folklore legends. July 4–7, 2024 - Essence Festival of Culture
Celebrating their 30th anniversary, this year’s headliners include Janet Jackson, Charlie Wilson, and Birdman & Friends. Held over Fourth of July weekend at the Caesars Superdome and throughout downtown New Orleans, this multi-day party combines incredible music performances with inspirational speakers on topics pertaining to gender, race, fashion, culture and art. The Empowerment Experience spotlights dozens of speakers on thought-provoking topics such as religion, economics and education. Dozens of vendors have displays set up in different locations around the Superdome that are turned into outdoor markets where you can find fine art and crafts, from clothing and jewelry to collectible paintings and sculptures. July 12–14, 2024 - Running of the Bulls
The New Orleans version of the Running of the Bulls is as dramatic as the one taking place in Pamplona, Spain and real bulls have been replaced by the Big Easy Rollergirls adorned in horns and plastic bats. This year has a full slate of events including Txupinazo, Running of the Bulls, and El Pobre de Mi, all at an iconic location: Gallier Hall, once the home of New Orleans City Hall! July 21–26, 2024 - Tales of the Cocktail
Taking place July 21–26, is one of the world’s premier global cocktail conferences. Tales is organized by the nonprofit Tales of the Cocktail Foundation, which aims to educate, advance and support cocktail professionals and enthusiasts alike. The theme of the conference this year is “Inspire.” Throughout the week, attendees experience a variety of activities from tastings and workshops to seminars, competitions and networking opportunities. Aug. 3, 2024 - White Linen Night
White Linen Night which takes place on Aug. 3, 2024. This event’s guests don their finest white linen attire and stroll through the Arts/Warehouse District, predominantly on Julia Street, and other surrounding areas including the Contemporary Arts Center. On the first Saturday of every August, Julia Street transforms into a hub of artistic energy, hosting a multitude of galleries, live music performances, food and drink and captivating art installations. White Linen Night is hosted by Arts District New Orleans (ADNO), a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering the growth of the arts in the city. Aug. 3 & 4, 2024 - Satchmo SummerFest
The Satchmo Summerfest on August 3 & 4, 2024 brings together some of the best jazz performers in NOLA to perform at this multi-day music festival celebrating the life of Louis “Satchmo” Armstrong. The event takes place at the New Orleans Jazz Museum. Sponsored by French Quarter Festivals, Inc., the organization that also sponsors the French Quarter Festival, Satchmo SummerFest includes live bands on two music stages, delicacies provided by top restaurants in the city, parties, indoor lectures and seminars by Armstrong biographers and historians as well as discussions with musicians who have been inspired by him. Aug. 7–11, 2024 - NOLA Pickle Fest
NOLA Pickle Fest, benefiting the Brees Dream Foundation, is Aug. 7–11, 2024. This unique, festival-style pickleball tournament will feature 24 tournament-quality PickleRoll courts, live music, a celebrity exhibition match, VIP experiences and much more. Aug. 10, 2024 - Red Dress Run
The Red Dress Run happening on Aug. 10, 2024 is a charity “run” in New Orleans hosted by the New Orleans Hash House Harriers. This local drinking club hosts the world’s most unique running event. All locals and visitors attend this annual event dressed in red attire—specifically, dresses. This event involves a two-mile run beginning at Crescent Park along the Mississippi River. Aug. 10, 2024- Dirty Linen Night
Born as a satirical play on White Linen Night, DLN invites participants to relish in everything dirty, and is the one event that celebrates the not so pristine side of the French Quarter. Galleries and shops along Royal Street open their doors and play host to visitors as musicians line the streets and the party feels never ending. Come see some REAL New Orleans Culture during Dirty Linen Night while walking the streets of the French Quarter experiencing all of the art, food and drinks that this city has to offer.
