Taking a walk down Royal Street is a magical experience for all the senses. With every block, you find yourself walking to the beat of the trumpet or guitar played by a local street musician, savoring the delicious smells of New Orleans cuisine as you pass world re-known restaurants, appreciating the stunning architecture from the historic buildings that house enchanting shops and galleries filled with fine art, rare antiques, and unique gifts.

That's why every year, The Royal Street Stroll, a fabulous evening event during the New Orleans Wine and Food Experience, is an experience for the senses that can't be missed. The stroll takes people on a magical journey down the historic street. Armed with a commemorative wine glass and wristband, strollers shop the art galleries, while experiencing tasty wine offerings from each stop along the way.

Start your evening at Patrick's Bar Vin (730 Bienville St.), where with a group of festive wine enthusiasts who make up the Krewe of Cork, a world-famous wine industry phenomenon nearly 400 members strong, are dressed in festive togas get ready for the evening's event. Patrick van Hoorebeek who serves as the King, is dressed in his finest Toga, leads the sippin' strollers on this delightful journey down Royal Street kicking off the evening's festivities. So put on your walking shoes, grab your friends, and soak up the sights and sounds of Royal Street, while sipping on fantastic vino during the Royal Street Stroll!
