Nina Brantley had that distinct pleasure and it led to her fantasy wedding in a town she had never visited before dating Isaac. However, when she came to our charming city she "fell in love with the culture, food, and friendliness of everyone" and instantly knew that it was the perfect place for the wedding of her dreams, surrounded by magnificent landmarks and the rich sounds and history of one of the world's most celebrated cities.

This June, women will be heading to the French Quarter to experience one of the country's most unique celebrations centered around women, FestiGals. The annual event takes place Thursday, June 19th through Sunday, June 22nd with a perfect weekend to celebrate life, laughter, and womanhood, and to share ideas, talents, and passions with other like-minded ladies in a city where food, fun and fabulousness abound! This year's theme, "It's All About YOU!" says it all! Early arrivals on Thursday June 19th will be treated to a private opening reception at the historic Hermann-Grimma House.

A Royal Stroll

Sitting right on top my bucket list is a picture of me sitting right on top Mount Kilimanjaro. Whenever I say this, people look at me like I am bat swattin' crazy. You see, I am not exactly one who enjoys long strolls anywhere. I don't walk on the beach because lying down on the beach is better, I don't to hike in the forest because lying down in the forest is better, and I don't strolling through neighborhoods looking at cute houses, because lying down on my sofa in my own house is better.
