The school year is ending and the summer is fast approaching. The New Orleans Steamboat Company invites local families to celebrate summer at the annual Family Fun Day on the Steamboat NATCHEZ, the last authentic steamboat on the Mississippi River. This event will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 2:30-4:30pm. Boarding begins at 2pm. In addition to a two hour narrated cruise down the river, guests can learn how the NATCHEZ operates by visiting the steam engine room. There will also be a variety of entertainment, including live jazz music, appearances by superhero Spiderman, a magician, balloon artists, and a spray tattoo artist. Cruise only tickets will start at $1 for children under 6, $7.50 children ages 6-12, and $15 for adults. Early reservations are encouraged as spots are limited. More info
